Are you still looking for a reason to come to Sacred Stone's Baronial
Birthday this weekend? How about:

Taverns! We will have taverns both Friday and Saturday evenings. On
Friday, the Canton of Crois Brigte is hosting a free tavern harking back to
the days of yore, with the kind of comfort foods that you would expect to
have found before we learned about redacting receipts. There'll be games
in the hall as well, so come expecting the kind of entertainment that you'd
have seen in our Society decades ago. On Saturday, there will be a dessert
fund-raiser for the Canton of Charlesbury Crossing as topping for the
marvelous feast.

Food! Not one, but 2 feasts fit for a Queen! Since She is cooking them,
you _know_ that it will be good! Look for menus tomorrow. Not only is
there a traditional feast on Saturday and a below-the-salt family-style
feast on Sunday, there are also dayboards for breakfast and lunch being
served both days. Please bring your feast gear even if you're not eating
one of the feasts, as we are not providing disposable gear.

Classes! History of Sacred Stone, Calligraphy and Illumination, and
Dancing will be taught.during the day on Saturday! I think that I am
forgetting something, too.

Fighting! If you're a heavy fighter, we will have fighting for you. There
are tourneys on Saturday and melee on Sunday. The Rapier community will
surely not be left out, with interesting tourney scenarios on Saturday and
a limited front melee scenario on Sunday.

Got a beef with someone? Has Lord Schmoe insulted the honor of your third
cousin twice-removed's favorite cat? Did Lady Brilliance have the audacity
to research her hangerok from the same sources that you did and then show
up with a shinier bling string? We'll also have a dueling field with a
Justice of the Peace which will be open to resolve all manner of disputes.
The victory conditions will depend upon the nature of the offense.
Non-fencers will also be able to participate with rubber band guns after
putting on a fencing mask.

Archery! Of course we're having archery! Just because the Barony is
hosting a major archery event the following weekend does not mean that
we've got enough to slake our thirst. Come and shoot! We'll also have an
IKCAC Combat Archery target and loaner gear available if you'd like to see
what the combat archery fuss is all about.

We still have space for both cabin and feast. Come on down and party with
Atlantia's 6th oldest Barony as we celebrate 30 years!
