Greetings all!

War of the Wings has traditionally had fundraising efforts throughout
Friday (and some on Saturday) and this year is no different.
The fundraising this year will benefit the American Cancer Society, St.
Jude's and Kingdom 12th Night.
We always have great activities for the fundraisers so you really get a
bang for your buck!
Here is a run down of the fundraising activities....

Tournaments!
On Friday there will be various fundraising Prize Tourneys...
*Heavy Torchlight Tournament
*Rapier Fundraising Tournament
*Fundraising Archery Shoot
*Fundraising Weapon Throw
The entry fee for each varies but will not exceed $5.

Silent Auction & Raffle
On Saturday there will be a Silent Auction.
This has become a standing tradition at WoW.
If you have items to donate to the Silent Auction please contact Lady

This year Lord Dreux d'Anjou will be providing the raffle item.

Viking Boat Burning
THL Christophe of Grey is once again building a viking ship for the
Memorial Boat Burning on Saturday night following court. It is a beautiful
and moving activity and once you will not soon forget. The ship will have
shields on either side that will be hand painted in memory/honor of someone
who has passed.  The donation for a shield is $10. If you want a shield
please contact Christophe at cogworks at triad.rr.com. Space and time are both
limited so contact him ASAP.

Lantern Processional
Last year we did a lantern release and people loved it! Well do to
a drought in the area we are doing something a little different this
year. We will have a Lantern Processional on Saturday at 8:30pm. The
lanterns will be for sale during the day or just before the Procession at
8:00 pm at the Silent Auction tent. The lanterns are $5 each and you get to
keep your lantern at the end of the procession as a keepsake.
We are taking names of those interested in a lantern so that we know how
many to get. So if you want to participate go here
