NOTE ON DOCUMENTATION: Karen Larsdatter taught a great class on documentation, and provides her hand-out here: http://larsdatter.com/wordpress/?p=1195
If you’re new to documentation. Try her EZ Doc Form: http://larsdatter.com/ezdoc/index.html.

The tablet weaving and the costuming competitions will be judged using the Atlantian A&S Judging form found here: http://moas.atlantia.sca.org/forms.htm (Note that documentation is part of the evaluation).

The Poeta Atlantiae will be sponsoring a poetry competition at this event. The subject is the War of the Roses. Adult poets must include references to the red Lancastrian rose and the white Yorkist rose and/or the red Lancastrian dragon and the white Yorkist Boar in the poem itself. Youth poets need only have reference to red and white roses or a red dragon battling a white boar. Extra points will be awarded for reference to archery and archers since the Poeta is an archer!!! The poem must be written in a period style and documentation provided stating the style and time period of your poem (a paragraph will do). Prizes will be given for adult poetry and youth poetry. NOTE: There will be a class in writing poetry offered for the youth in the morning.
