Position Available: Deputy Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences,
Historic Martial Arts

After 5 years of service in this role, Maestro Dante di Pietro has
become the Society Deputy for Historic Combat Studies. As such, this
position is currently vacant.

The person holding this position is responsible for furthering the
study of historic martial arts (HMA) in the Kingdom of Atlantia. This
can include, but is not limited to, teaching and organizing University classes, providing
resources to HMA enthusiasts, and acting as a point of contact for HMA
scholars within the kingdom. Additionally, this person will be working
with the Society Minister of Historic Combat Studies regarding the
future of HMA in both Atlantia and the Society.

In addition to the normal requirements for a A&S officer, an applicant
should have a firm knowledge of HMA as they are studied both within
the SCA and without, as well as the willingness and ability to
facilitate academically minded HMA classes and events.

Energy, diligence, and strong writing skills are a must.
