Noble friends,

Oops! Indeed. I hit the wrong key before completing this post. My apologies.

Tomorrow (21 April) marks the anniversary of the Henry VII's death (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_VII_of_England ) and the accession of
Henry VIII to the throne of England (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_VIII_of_England ). Henry VII was a
thoughtful man, conservative in many ways, who apparently (usually)
thought of his realm before his personal pleasures. No so his
spendthrift son, who was recklessly exercised his powers, usually
thinking of himself. No matter what you think of Henry VIII, his
marital problems, or his blatant grab of monastery property, he was a
larger than life figure (in more ways than one).

Have fun with these Wikipedia articles.

Yours Aye,

Lord Mungo Napier, That Crazy Scot
