Usually when you hear music at events you're hearing "soft" instruments -
recorders, crumhorns & cornamuses, lutes & ouds, viols, ... (Or their
modern descendants like the guitar)
But our medieval forbearers didn't just play chamber music, devotional
music, dance music - there was music for court, music for traveling, music
for the battlefield.
Do you play shawm? Trumpet? Sackbut (trombone)? Field drum (marching
snare)? Bagpipes? Interested in playing at events? Let me know! Let's work
up a few fanfares and processional pieces so that when Atlantia comes
together we can shower our royalty with the pomp & circumstance they
deserve!
