Slight correction to this.

There will not be a Friday night rapier torchlight tourney. Other than that, the schedule for rapier is as listed. There will be a lot of fighting, a lot of celebrating and a fine event.

I hope everyone will be there.

Subject: [caermear] Fighting Schedule for Fall Coronation!

FALL CORONATION FIGHTING SCHEDULE:
General Information:
Fighting will take place on Friday and Saturday. All fighting will take place either in the
Ravine, or on a small hillock next to the Royal ‘Pavilion’.

PLEASE NOTE: On Saturday the MOL will open at 9:00 AM for
sign up and inspections. Authorizations will take place at 9:30 AM, with fighting
starting PROMPTLY at 10 AM. (NOT SCA TIME, real time!)

FRIDAY NIGHT SCHEDULE:
Rapier/Armoured Torchlight Tourneys.
The MOL table will open at 7PM with sign up and inspections.
Fencing Torchlight Tourney: Format to be determined. Master Aedan is RMIC
for the event.
Armoured Torchlight Tourney:
A Round Robin tourney fought by torchlight. Before each
round combatants will have the option of selecting matched weapons of either:
Dagger, Sword and Buckler, Saber (single sword) , Greatsword.

SATURDAY MORNING SCHEDULE:
9 AM – MOL Opens
10 AM – Rapier Mêlées (to be determined), Armoured Bedford
Points Tourney
12 Noon - Armoured Mêlées, Rapier Bedford Points Tourney

Tourneys: Bedford
Points Tourney: (For a description
please see the Atlantian MOL Handbook)

Armored Mêlée:

Siege of Auray: The
Defender will hold a fortified position on high ground. They shall have three
lives and a short resurrection walk. The
Attackers will begin on the far side of the Ravine, march across the ‘River’
and lay siege. They shall two lives have a longer resurrection walk. Victory is
achieved with the Attackers take the town by killing the Defenders to the Last
Man. This must be achieved in 20 minutes to be successful. Then the sides will switch and we will repeat
the scenario.

Pitched Battle (Capture the King): Fought as a broken filed battle in the Ravine
this battle is fought without resurrections. Each side will have a “King”.
Victory is achieved by Capturing, (not Killing) the King. The King is captured
by Yielding, having an opponent in front of the King and one behind trapping
the King’s Weapon, or by wounded the king and capturing him the same way. If a
King is killed (head or body blow) the victory is forfeit. This scenario will
be run multiple times.

If you have any questions, please contact me.
