Noble friends,

BBC Scotland has an interesting short piece on a new roof for Smailholm 
Tower, a small Scottish castle which has been having water damage of 
late. This castle was owned for many years by ancestors of Sir Walter 
Scott, and figures in some of his stories and poems:
