Greetings to the lists,
Here it is September and as fall approaches and the weather will finally start to change, War of the Wings is just around the corner.  
Think warm days and cold nights, the clash of swords, the quick flash of arrows and the laughter around campfires. 

There will be so many activities at this event  that you will need to make a "Things Not to Miss" list.  
Two of those activities will be the Welcome Social on Thursday night.  That will be the official kick off
to our war and an opportunity to catch up with old friends and relax after your travels. 
The other will be the "Flights of Fancy" Masked Ball on Friday night. There will be period dancing under the stars in a beautifully
decorated and lit castle. This is a new activity for War of the Wings and one you definitely won't want to miss.

Now the question is who will you be at the Masked Ball on Friday night?   Have you started working on your mask yet? 
Will you be a warrior, a jester, a courtesan, a queen?  Here is your chance to keep everyone guessing.  There will
be prizes for the prettiest and the most unusual mask.  No dancing skills will be required.  Instruction will be ongoing.
So time to start thinking about what you will be at the "Flights of Fancy" Masked Ball.
