Greetings Chatelaines- 
  
For those of you who may not yet know, I have recently stepped up as your new Kingdom Chatelaine.  I am looking forward to meeting and working with all of you to continue the great work that you have all been doing to help newcomers get involved with our group. 
  
Unevent is quickly approaching and the location has been posted.  Unevent will be held on December 3, 2011 at:

The format for Unevent this year will be somewhat different than years prior- there will be no Order meetings this year.   This will allow for extended officers’ meetings and training.  I have planned for several classes to be given so that all of you will have the information that you need to be great at your jobs.  This is a great opportunity to take the required 101 class as well as receive additional training and talk to other local Chatelaines to hear what they have been doing in their area.  
  
I expect to see all of you at Unevent.  If you are unable to attend, you must contact me prior and let me know why.  I understand that it may be difficult for some who have to travel, but I want to reiterate how important your attendance is.  In addition to the training that is scheduled, there will be time available for open discussion.  I want to know your thoughts about what you need to be successful in your position.  This is your opportunity to provide in-person feedback.  Also, since I am new to the office, it will be a chance for me to meet and talk with all of you. 
  
The schedule will be posted soon, but if you have already taken the 101 class, please contact me and let me know as soon as possible.
