[MR] Pearl Promenade Passport Contest Update

I
hope everyone has had a wonderful time during this anniversary year!
 
I
had the wonderful opportunity to meet many of the people helping and
participating in the Pearl Promenade Passport Contest this last weekend.  I want to express our gratitude to all of
you, both to those of you helping us implement this contest and to those of you
participating!  It warms my heart to see
so many of you excited about the contest.
 
I
was asked a few questions this weekend that I would like to clear up.  
 
First,
if there isn’t a space in the passport for an event you are going to, you are welcome to use
the blank spaces in the passport to record those events.  That is why we left blank spaces.  This can include out-of-kingdom events (and
there are several already listed).  
 
Second,
if you forgot your passport when you attended an event, do not despair!  If the autocrat or another staff member can
verify that you were there, you can have them initial your passport
retroactively for that event.  Like many
things in the SCA, we are working on an honors system for this contest, so we
do ask you to play fair and not have events initialed that you did not
attend.
