[MR] Boar Hunt and Market Day

To all fine gentles, 


In less than a week the Canton of Charlesbury Crossing will delight our attendees with a Boar Hunt and Market Day in the beautiful Camp Cherokee of Kings Mountain State Park.  We would be delighted to see our numbers grow so more can share in this great event.  Here are a few things that are planned - - - 


Outside within easy reach of cabins and parking will be Woods Battle fighting scenarios for heavy and rapier fighters, Archery and a Market Day (where guests may sell or barter their fine wares).

The feast hall will be fully engaged throughout the day with Arts and Sciences, Poetry and Performing Arts competitions; Dance Instruction and Practice; and a Silent Auction.

We will close our daytime activities with a Royal and Baronial Court.

Not enough???  Lord Egill will tempt the pallet of those 
attending feast with the following menu: Whole Wheat Bread with Honey Butter, Savory Toasted Cheese, 
Veggies, Mushrooms & Leeks, Roast Pork with Apples & Fennel, a 
Chicken Dish, Roasted Root Veggies, and Pear & Rosemary Tarts.

Lastly, we will entertain each other at a Bardic circle at the outdoor fire ring behind the feast hall..

The gate opens at 5:00pm on Friday night and closes at Midnight.  If you anticipate arriving later, please notify me (annorahall AT yahoo.com) before Friday so we can make arrangements for you.  The gate will re-open at 8:00 am Saturday morning.
