Drums pound through the afternoon air, their message resonating off of
castle walls and tents alike.  People flee toward city gates in precious
hope not to be shut out and trapped between an invading army, and their
home.  The invaders approach with boastful pride, but steady calculation.
These are not peasants they bring war to; this is mighty Atenveldt!

This is Atenveldt, Land of The Sun.  This is Estrella War XXVIII.  The
invaders have tried to take our lands before, but the Children of the Sun
are determined to repel them once again.  They call their allies to their
side to meet the invading barbarians.



The field of battle is different, though the lands are the same as Estrella
War XXVIII returns to Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, AZ!!!  The opposing
sides have decided that their forces shall meet on the various fields of
honor March 27-April 2, 2012.



This new site shall allow all the Kingdoms to come together and share in
the revelry, the artistry, the telling of tales and of course, the art of
war!!  Closer encampments will allow host and visitor alike to share
philosophy, science, trade and culture.  No longer will encampments be
separated by berms or battlefield.



The new date brings hope of better weather to our guests, warmer
temperatures throughout, and less chance of precipitation.



Estrella War XXVIII promises all of its usual activities including arts,
armored combat, rapier and archery events, and as always an impressive
merchant?s area.



Scnepf Farms is known for its public events and provides quality family
entertainment in a safe farm setting and runs regular programs to educate
