Reason 1!!!  Free Booze!!!

Reason 2!!!  Melees Melees Melees!!!

Reason 3!!! The Arts and Sciences!!

Reason 4!!!  The Feast! Not sure we have any spaces left, but if you
want one register today!!!!

Reason 5!!!  The Camping  Anyone who camped out at HRM last year knows
that the new site has some great camping.

Reason 6!!!  The Dancing !!!!

Reason 7!!!  Newcomer friendly!!!  This will be an ideal event to
bring that person who you want to give a real taste of what the SCA
has to offer

Reason 8!!! The Footraces!!!  We are adding a series of footraces to
the schedule this year including a Ladies Race (The more elaborate the
garb the better) and an Armored Race for our heavy fighters to test
themselves in another field.  I encourage everyone to take part as
they are a lot of fun.

Reason 9!!!  The Party!!!  To make the most of the free booze that the
Brewer's Guild will be providing for the event we will be hosting a
party after feast that will feature dancing, music, and most
importantly good company.  Celebrate the night away and then take the
short walk to your tent.  Sleeping weather looks like it will be
excellent by the way!

Reason 10!!!  The Weather!!! The weather looks like it will be

)  Many sacrifices have been made to the Highland Foorde rain god to
insure a great weekend.  As you can see the temperature will be
dropping down for the weekend, and the general weather outlook is
excellent.

So, I hope to see you at the Melees this year.  I think it will be an
incredible event, but of course the most important ingredient that
makes a great event is you.  So come out and join us for a weekend of
great fighting, great food, great drink, great arts and sciences,
great bardic, and most importantly great company.  Please forward this
