Greetings unto the Populace

I have been reading the past 2 days of emails and the latter half have begun  
to trouble me.  I have seen people mention that the purpose for these  
proposed changes it to make a favored few stand out and feel more important  
about themselves, yet I have seen no official statement that this is the  
case (not that it'd be worded quite that way).  As was mentioned briefly,  
rumors are seldom close to the truth.  Could we not hold off on taking this  
as written in stone until a reason is officially stated, please?  Could we  
refrain from insulting TRM for something that is thusfar only a rumor?

And to Their Most Royal Majesties,

Your populace yearns to know the reason for these proposed changes so that  
we can better understand what we are responding to.  Please help us make a  
more informed decision.
