[MR] 10 Reasons You Should Go to Highland River Melees 2011: Part 3!!!

The Peasants are revolting at Highland River Melees this year, and you
should be there too for the following reasons.

Reason 1!!!  Free Booze!!!  We will be having an open bar during
court, feast, and a party afterwards featuring some of the best
brewers in the Kingdom.

Reason 2!!!  Melees Melees Melees!!! Two Days of enough fighting for
even the most combat hungry Atlantian.  All Heavy Fighting scenarios
will be siege and combat archery friendly.

Reason 3!!! The Arts and Sciences!!!  We have a broad range of Arts
and Sciences on offer for Highland River Melees this year.  Here is a
brief outline.

There will be a number of A&S challenges including making a peasant
protest sign, or creating a tribute to Chaucer, who was the
Comptroller of Customs at the time.  These contests are designed so
that anyone of any level of ability can play, and we hope to see a lot
of first time entrants this year.  Please see the website for more

There will also be a broad range of classes including sewing,
embroidery, weaving, sewing, knitting, fingerloop braiding, and
kumihimo.  A full class schedule will be out soon.

Bardic will also be well represented at HRM this year, as Lady Swannoc
is planning a battle of the bards to take place on the battlefield
before the fighting begins to inspire the troops, as well as a bardic
bearpit in our Bard's Tavern.

And of course the brewing, but we allready covered that one.  =)
