Unto Your Majesties Michael and Seonaid, the Triton Principal Herald,
the Atlantian College of Heralds, the populace of Atlantia, and all who
read these presents:
Greetings from Cian mac Ceallacháin hUí Dubhlaich, Gordian Knot
Pursuivant herald of the
Barony of Nottinghill Coill and Royal Herald for the Golden Rose Tournament.
On the 16th day of April, Anno Societatis XLV, Her Majesty Queen Seonaid
did hold a Royal Court in the Barony of Tir-y-Don, on the occasion of
the 3rd Golden Rose Tournament.
Her Majesty did process into court, and invited her landed Baronages in
attendance to accompany her into Court. Their Excellencies Tir-y-Don,
Baron Jean-Claude and Baroness Alyna, Her Excellency Black Diamond,
Baroness Gracia, Their Excellencies Marinus, Baron William and Baroness
Sarah Beth, Their Excellencies Ponte Alto, Baron Drogo and Baroness
Adina, and Her Excellency Raven’s Cove, Baroness Katharine processed
into court and took Their place alongside Her Majesty. His Excellency,
Baron Maximilian von Fallingbostel, Baron of Shattered Crystal in the
Kingdom of Midrealm was visiting Atlantia this day, and was invited by
Her Majesty to also join her in Royal Court.
Upon the seating of the populace, Her Majesty did greet Her landed
Vassals, and then welcomed the populace, inquiring if they had enjoyed
the days tournament. Resounding cheers were heard throughout the hall
from the populace as they proclaimed their enjoyment, as well as their
relief that the weather had held off.
Her Majesty did then have Christine of Marinus called forth into court,
where in recognition of Christine’s service to her Barony and her
Kingdom, Her Majesty did see fit to raise Christine to the ranks of the
nobility by awarding her Arms. Lady Christine then returned to her seat
amidst many cheers!
Lord Aidan of Kingswood was then summoned before Her Majesty. She
praised him for his work upon the field of battle, and was minded to
elevate him to the Order of the Silver Osprey.
Eoin mac Giric was called into court. Her Majesty spoke of Her pleasure
at the service that Eoin was doing as a Marshal-in-Training and within
the fighting community, and thus She awarded him Arms.
The Newcomers were then called to present themselves before Her Majesty.
The Queen did thank the newcomers, and expressed Her desire that they
continue to attend events in the future, as they are the lifeblood of
Atlantia. After giving the newcomers a token of remembrance, cheers for
the newcomers echoed from the rafters.
Rose of Tir-y-Don was summoned into Her Majesty’s presence, and based
upon her service, particularly in the area of waterbearing, was awarded
the Hippocampus.
Her Majesty had Hannah of Kingswood brought before Her. Due to Hannah’s
long record of service to Barony and Kingdom, Her Majesty did raise her
to the ranks of the nobility by awarding her Arms.
The children of Atlantia were invited to come forth and choose a toy
from the overflowing toy chest of Atlantia. The children were most
pleased with their toys, and Her Majesty was most pleased at the smiling
young faces before Her.
Lady Theodora Delamore and Lord Segehart Leutmericz were commanded to
present themselves before Her Majesty. The Queen spoke of Her
appreciation and admiration for their work on the beautiful banners used
for the Golden Rose Tournament, and was thus inspired to grant them both
an augmentation of arms in the form of a Yellow Rose.
Lady Alana Urquhart was summoned into the Royal Presence, where Her
Majesty was minded to present her with the Opal, in recognition of her
service to the Kingdom.
Uilleam Gillecrist Ross was called before the Court, where Her Majesty
made note of the fact that he was previously awarded an augmentation of
arms, yet had not been awarded arms. To recitify this conundrum, Her
Majesty promptly awarded arms to William, and bade Lord William to
continue his excellent work.
Her Majesty then rose to address the populace to formally announce the
transfer of the position of Kingdom Minister of the List. Mistress Kari
Kyst, who has served Atlantia faithfully as KMOL, was stepping down, and
Mistress Ceridwen ferch Owain has officially taken on the position.
The autocrat was asked if he had any words for the populace, which he
did not. Her Majesty then had Sir Tnek called forth to announce that
during the day, a special archery shoot was held to determine the new
Kingdom Archery Champion, and that it pleased Her Majesty to name Karl
von Konigsberg as the new Champion.
Winifred merch Ifan was called before Her Majesty, where in recognition
of her service she was awarded the Hippocampus.
Her Majesty then spoke of the tournament held that day, and announced
that the Ladies of the Rose had gathered and decided that several
individuals had performed admirably during the tournament and were due a
special recognition from the Order of the Rose. Her Majesty called
those individuals into court and presented them with special medallions.
Unfortunately, I was unable to write those individual names down to
report in this Court Report.
Her Majesty also spoke of the banners that were created for the Golden
Rose Tournament, each with one of the virtues that this tournament was
based upon, and She did then call forth several more individuals to
present them with the banners. Again, I was unable to write those names
down to report on them.
Her Majesty did then announce the winner of the Golden Rose Tournament,
Mistress Kari Kyst and her team!
Countess Brigit of Mercia come forth with her team to make a special
presentation. During the Tournament, her team was observing the Roses
and their teams, and jointly made a decision as to which Rose best
exemplified the virtues of the Tournament and was an inspiration to all
who were present. The decision having been made, Countess Brigit
presented Mistress Kari Kyst with a beautiful scroll in honor of her
being so recognized.
The cooks who labored throughout the day to prepare a sumptuous Day
Board were recognized and thanked by Her Majesty and the populace.
There being no further business, Her Majesty bade the populace to have a
safe trip home in the looming weather, and then closed Court. She
processed out, followed by her landed Baronages.
This account is accurate to the best of my knowledge and complete to the

Set down and submitted by my hand, I remain, faithful in service to
Crown and Kingdom,
Lord Cian mac Ceallacháin hUí Dubhlaich, Gordian Knot Pursuivant herald,

(Personal note - my apologies for the lateness of this report. I have
been trying to track down names for the OP, and between that and my work
schedule, I have been a bit behind.
If anyone knows Eoin mac Giric, who received his AoA, please get in
touch with me.)
