Greetings Atlantia,
I am most remiss in not having already posted this missive, but I will try to be more timely in the future.
Another Tournament of the Golden Rose has come and gone and each one just gets better!
It was a wonderful day full of glorious fighting, archery and heralding.  If you have never attended a Golden Rose - you should come to the next one.
This is truly a tournament unlike any other we have and the feeling is indescribable.  The pageantry, the team comaraderie and fellowship are amazing.  The teams really come together for each other and they are so supportive.  It is a tremendous example to the entire kingdom about unity and support of each other and our different disciplines that we should all take to heart.
Thank you to the Barony of Tir-y-Don for hosting this day, thank you to all the team members of all the teams, thank you to Theo, Ziggy and company for once again providing the lovely banners that the participants are so proud and honored to display afterwards, thanks you to the cooks for the lovely dayboard, thank you to Sir Alfred for the creation and maintenance of the website, and thank you to the weather gods for holding off the rain for JUST long enough!  
This was a special day for me and I will always remember it.
