I thought I would send out a quick reminder to all armoured fighters  that there will be Tournaments of Chivalry type events at Crown this coming weekend and again at this event in the summer:

I realized the other day that while we used to hold these at least once a year, we have had another ‘generational’ change over and a lot of the newer fighters might not have fought in a TOC before.
 
Basically what happens is that the Knights hold the field against the Unbelts in a series of Bearpits. The Knights hold the list until they are beat by an unbelt and another Knight comes in. There is usually one list available for Great Weapons. Fights are sometimes just fights like a practice or tourney and sometimes there is additional teaching if a fighter asks for it.
 
Basically it is a chance to test yourself against great opponents all day and receive feedback from fighters that you don't normally face at your practice.
 
So bring your armor to Crown and come out to Summer in the Park. These both look to be really enjoyable days of great fighting.
