[MR] Retaining at two upcoming events - Warfighter and Storvik Novice Tourney

Countess Kalisa Aleksandrovna, Head Retainer to Their Majesties, asked  
for retainers at two upcoming events:
<<< Both Warfighter (June 10 - 12) and Storvik Novice Tourney?(June 17  
- 19) are just a few weeks away and I am putting out a call for  
assistance with retaining for both events. We would love to have  
anybody who is interested in helping, and experience is not a

what event you are interested in retaining at, what part of the day  
you are available to retain, and if you have any retaining experience  
so that I will know if I need to try to pair you with a more

If you're not sure what this involves, perhaps this file in the SCA- 
INC section of the Florilegium might be of use. Of course what the  
Royalty wish for will vary from individual couple to couple and from  
kingdom to kingdom but perhaps this will give you some background info:

I've seldom seen so open an invitation to folks to be retainers. I  
would recommend any that think they might be interested in doing this,  
to consider doing so.

Of course if anyone, particularly past Crowns, would like to add their  
insight into this topic, I'd love to have their comments, public or  
email, that I could add for future folks who might be interested in  
retaining, but have no idea what is involved.
