Greetings Cassandra,

Thank you for your comments. Much of what you've said, I agree with.  
I've come close to leaving the Society myself several times in my 22  
years of doing this. And I know various, very talented people who have  
finally left the SCA because of the politics, or more precisely how  
they can be played.

I've also seen many topics come up and be squabbled over and then come  
up again and again. Please take it all with a grain of salt and  
consider what parts of your SCA experience you've enjoyed, what  
activities you've liked doing, and concentrate on those things. I've  
heard the SCA compared to a big, very big, family. Families have  
squabbles from time to time.
