Really?

I'm sorry I am bothered by this that you feel this way about this subject. I
really am and do not know why you would honestly come to this conclusion.
For example, you do not hear heavy fighters complaining the logistics of
going to events with all their equipment; whether that is siege or just a
sword and board. Every year Pennsic and Gulf Wars is held in the same
location. Some people can plan for that either every year or every other
year. They do not complain that it should be closer to their Kingdom or
local group or be more "North" or more "South" etc. Bottom line is that NO
ONE is out to "get" you or your group and/or make anything purposefully
difficult out of spite. It is about compromising and coming to the
conclusion of something that will benefit the Kingdom and Society...

Im also amazed about how a potentially great idea is shot down and trampled
almost immediately.

What this Kingdom needs most is greater cohesion, camaraderie and a stronger
sense of community. I feel, as a relative newcomer, the idea of having
established Kingdom event sites is step in that direction.
