not necessarily. We've used Betsy Jeff Penn for lots of kingdom level events in the past couple years and lots of baronial events.
Does that mean northern cooks are familiar with the kitchen? No.
They're familiar with how to get there and have an idea of what is there but that doesn't mean the event staff that travels there is familiar with facilities and inner workings of the site.
It means they came and traveled to have fun and relax at an event for once instead of work. Some people ARE willing to be head cook at site unknown. That doesn't mean it's right to assume that everybody is.
I also note there is a huge difference in gas bill between traveling with yourself and traveling while hauling tons of stuff. While Windmasters has an outstanding inventory (I've donated a bunch of it myself so I know) that doesn't mean we would have everything needed. So in a bad economy not only is a permanent site asking people from up north to travel, it's asking them to travel hauling tons of stuff increasing their gas bill exponentially just because they wanted to serve their kingdom.
Seems like punishing people who want to serve.
