I have been listening to some, not all, of the conversation surrounding Fall
Crown. And I have some thoughts that I will throw out for people to debate.
I can understand that any local area would be reluctant to lose money on an
event. Especially an event at the Kingdom level which we usually see as "a
large event". What does a group really need to provide for a Coronation?
And I will admit I'm thinking Barest Minimum here.
A dry hall which is accessible to everyone. Places to sit are useful.
Bathrooms. Some form of parking.
Good things to provide, but not Absolutely Crucial... A place to change
clothing. A place for the Royals. A place to cook/heat food.
Does the event Really, Really NEED to provide a feast? If the answer is
yes, then consider this... A feast above the salt, Feeding a LIMITED
number of people. REALLY LIMITED. 20 maybe. Sell those seats to
confirmed Pre-Registered people only. And the rest of the feast Below the
salt... which is a potluck/ dish to pass. IF you can try to coordinate
it.
Anyway. These are just ideas. Debate them as you like. I hope to learn
something.
