1. No, that is not our populace badge. The populace badge is:
Azure, a compass star quarterly argent and Or, a bordure wavy argent.

I finally found: "Highland Foorde, Barony of. Badge. Gules, a ford proper" in a January 2011 document. 

Two questions"

1. Is this the populace badge?
2. If so, can some kind herald please share with me the color of "a ford proper"? Is it blue?
