[MR] Rumors concerning their august Excellencies of Ponte Alto and Highland Foorde

My Dearest Cousins,

While the good Baron Siegfried is correct in his observation that the
Baroness Sorcha and I are brewers of some skill, I must take umbrage
with the suggestion that our brewing is of such low standards as to
require us to besmirch his reputation to bolster our own beverages.

Indeed, it is well known throughout the land that the various
fermentations produced by My Barony constitute “Another Fine Product
of Ponte Alto” and, as the name indicates, it is an excellent product
of superior quality.  It is no surprise that “others” might spread
such rumors to enhance their position, but our “Fine Products” speak
for themselves.  It is also a well known fact that arid locations and
ships bilges are poor locations for fine libations.
