I am devastated that we have lost two such genuinely good people in so short a span.  Kiri and ET were exemplars of wit, courtesy, service, warmth, and intelligence.  When I was young in the Society they had a tremendous influence on me and their counsel was always well considered.  I will never live to the example each of them set.  But in my grief I commit to try.  God keep Judith and Phillip during this time when there is no real comfort to be had.  We are denied their company, but the work of Kiri and ET lives on in those of us who knew them over many years.  We can all build a monument to our friends by the way we treat each other.
