So what did you do for these wine and cheese parties? Perhaps this is  
just a local or kingdom thing, but this doesn't sound like anything  
I've heard of from the rest of the Known World.

Is this at regular Canton event? Or at a revel? Do you try to pick  
period types of wine and cheese? Use the products of local brewers?

It is that with my inability to travel long distances on highways that  
makes me hesitant to volunteer for any kingdom or regional position. :-(
