[MR] KWHSS Updates- Food & Parking Fees

 Good evening to all who read this missive. Please pass it on to any who would be interested in the information.

Known World Heralds & Scribal Symposium is a mere week away. We visited the hotel tonight to finalize details and I have these updates to report:

1) The hotel now has free breakfast for those staying at the hotel. This is to include cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juices and a rotating choice of two hot breakfast foods.

2) There will still be breakfast fare in the Hospitality Suite ... just less. If you are not staying at the hotel you will still be able to get a cuppa coffee or tea, fruit or pastries and a few other items in the Hospitality Suite during the breakfast hours. The change in hotel policy will allow Lady Murienne to put more of her food budget toward Lunch, Dinner and Social time offerings ...

3) The Hospitality Suite will be open Friday evening and night, Saturday all day until we close the place down or Lady Murienne falls asleep under a table and Sunday morning till noon. She is planning finger foods on Friday evening to include meat balls, mini meat and cheese pasties and fruit on Friday, lunch options and dinner options on Saturday to include a YUMMY vidalia chicken dish and light breakfast and finger foods on Sunday. Check out the KWHSS site in the next few days for her menu. Anyone wishing to contribute munchies or drink to the offerings should contact Lady Murienne whose contact info is on the web site.

3.5) There will be constant coffee and hot water for tea in the hospitality suite.

4) Parking at the hotel ... there is a city parking garage attached to the hotel. The cost is 75 cents an hour or $6 a day. If you are staying in the hotel, this can be charged to your room. There is also some street parking which is free of charge. 

5) For the Saturday Night Social, there will be no food in the actual Ballroom where the Social will take place however, individuals can get food in the Hospitality Suite where there will be munchies to possibly include Savory Toasted Cheese ... otherwise known and loved as Cheese Goo ... and punch ... which you can adulterate for yourself as you like.

7) Proceedings can be ordered from me and picked up at the gate ... or a limited number of extras will be available at the gate during the event. For those not attending, please order them through me. My contact info is on the web site.
