[MR] flemish tied bowstrings

His price
was a little steeper than the flemish tied bowstrings on ebay. I also  
bought
some good starter arrows from a vendor on ebay. Waiting to shoot them  
before I
recommend the string or arrow merchant.

I've seen this several times before, but what does "flemish tied  
bowstrings" indicate?  How are other bowstrings tied? I seem to  
remember this term being used for both crossbows and longbows.
