A reminder that this coming weekend is Warfighter! We have 3 A&S competitions; Heraldic Display / War Banners, Personal Traveling Items, and Period Camp Equipment. Please bring out your best and receive praise and encourage others.
For those who will not be fighting all the time we have planned Classes and Children's Activities!

Camp
Bling - for kids and campers. 1+ hours. Paint on cloth is part
of this class, so under 5 with parent. We will be making populous
pennons for tents and gate. Paint, brushes, un-hemmed pennons are
provided for 20. Instructions for creating a more personalized
pennon will be passed out. Instructor: Baron Kendrick del Grenewode
Adapting
Modern Clothing Patterns -
How to start with a modern pattern and adapt it so that you are
able to make a more period looking dress. How to adapt 20th
Century dress patterns to produce something pretty close to the
Herjolfnes dress, or a cote hardie. Patterns will be available for
a modest fee. Instructor: Lady Bianca Kantakouzene
Puppets
and Projectiles – Come and
make seige engines and work on your puppetry skills with your
Chanclor of Youth Lady Emelyn Grenville of Devon
Wet
Felting - Take sheepy bits and make something without spinning,
weaving, knitting or other needle work. Caution you will get wet!

Women
of Independent Means in Period - Discussion of some of the
lifestyles and environments of women in the middle ages, and
renaissance. Instructor: lady Cassandra
Hand
Sewing for Beginners - 1 hour. Students will learn essential
techniques and make a stitch sampler.
Instructor: Baroness Linnet del Grenewode
Camp
Games - for kids and campers. 1 hour. Tossing sticks, rolling big
dice, and wacking others with felt fingers, what could be better? We
will learn Kubb, Fox and Chickens, and Blind Man's Bluff.
Instructions for your making own games will be passed out.
