hehehehe
oh yeah.
There is a gentleman called Master John Lapel.he is in aethelmarc, there is a saying about him,
if you wish to drink and not remember anything for a long time..go with him.
he always has a bottle with him.and boy its allll good.
There was a war when me and him went to ravenspittles camp. well..I dont remember much,
all I know is with what ever he had in his bottle..it was good and NONE of us in the camp remembered much.
I think I slept on the plank that night,or maybe the crows nest.
hey Dughall..ever play that game hunkerhausen? now thats a good viking game.
I have seen it started with..hey whats in your horn, bet mines better lets play.
im so getting a game going at pennsic this year.
still counting the days to pennsic,
Torgar

I recall the second war I went to in Caid (High Desert War), back in AS (umm...<shudder>) XXIV...
I was fighting with the Cannae Belorum (now renamed the Canis Belli) of the Stronghold of Dun Na Fianna Mara - during the evenings, we crawled the camp, and this became truer as the night passed with a gallon jug of "Bug Juice", the non-alcoholic part of it was a type of powdered drink that was lime green in color, and then an extensive amount of different alcohols were blended in (for some strange reason, noone in the group recalls what was put in...) And a glowstick was added in, accidentally, it was dropped in when it strated getting dark and we needed a light source...WOW! I do recall travelling from camp to camp following the bouncing , oddly seductive green glow emanating from jug.
It's presence and taste earned us many, many, MANY filled (and re-re-re filled) tankards of whatever else was around the campsite we entered in response to our sharing it...
I think it may be that glowing jug so many years ago is responsible for my two favorite Viking games being, "Drink this!" and "What's in your mug?"
