The rules are pretty simple but the game play is pretty complicated.

First, you start off on the platform holding the end of a long rope. At the
go signal you reel in your rope and attempt to knock your opponent of his
platform by a combination of strength, guile, and balance. Typical new
players will attempt to pull you off your platform, but you can defeat them
by just giving them enough slack that they fall over backwards. It seems
easy, but it isn't. It takes a lot of skill.
