Logan,

   My comments are not a personal attack on any one and I have no desire to redress past issues. I merely used said indecent to illustrate a point. 
  Most everyone has at some time flouted a convention or custom of the SCA.
It is my point that everyone has a right to do it they way the wish with out 
repercussion. I am also aware that armour and be acquired at more reasonable prices, but I do believe that many people are sticker shocked out of heavy fighting. There are many reasons why someone would choose LARP or similar groups over the SCA. Many opinions can be milked from the data to be sure,
but the fact remains that society wide we need to be more accommodating to the newcomer.
