While preparations for Pennsic consume much of our minds, we still
must plan for the months following!  Below is part of the
announcement for the Shire of Owlsherste's event Wulfgar's Chivalry
Challenge to be held on September 10th, 2011 in Etters, PA.  Please
consider adding it to your event calendar!

Soldiers of the East, Honor and Glory await you!

Master Wulfgar and the Shire of Owlsherste once again call all
soldiers to the field to combat with Chivalry from far and near!  The
day will be dedicated to the glory and pageantry of combat.  There
will be various members of Chivalry awaiting challenges in a grand
Passage at Arms.  Let us recreate the days when all nobles gathered
to celebrate the glories of the list field.  Training and feedback
will be featured as well as prizes awarded by Master Wulfgar, the
Chivalry, and the Populace.

Other activities may include archery, thrown weapons, Youth combat,
merchants, Bardic Swap and music-making.  Contact the Autocrat if you
have any questions regarding these activities.

A hearty, fighter-friendly dayboard will be available.  A simple yet
hearty feast designed with the fighting man in mind will be served
EARLY in the evening, prepared by the justly famous Owlsherst Cooks
Guild led by Mistress Catriona MacLeod.  Feast is limited to 50
gentles so make your reservation soon!

The cost for this event is a LOW $6.00 for daytrip, which includes
dayboard!  Staying for feast only adds $7.00, making a total cost for
the day only $13.00, a bargain for the budget-minded.
