Noble friends, especially heralds,

The featured article on today's Wikipedia is a discussion of Canadian 
heraldry:

While this is, of course, modern stuff, it is likely to be of general 
interest to our heralds. I find the brisures or marks of cadency very 
interesting, especially the unique set for women.
