Greetings unto all to whom this message may come!

On a fine day known as June 18 in Anno Societatis XLVI, Their Excellencies of Storvik, Baron William le Younger and Baroness Sorcha Crowe, did hold Their Court in Their mighty lands upon the occasion of the Novice and Unbelt Tournament.

To begin the proceedings, They called forth the autocrat/steward of the event, Baroness Elizabeth Harlyn, who praised the many helpers who gave of their time to assist in the running of the tournament. She invited the marshals and judges to announce the winners of the competitions in heavy fighting, rapier fighting, target archery, thrown weapons, and the gracious arts and sciences.

Their Excellencies called into their presence the Feast Team, who had been mightily laboring since the sun rose, and gave them a moment of rest while thanking them for their hard and ongoing work of feeding the populace.

Lord Geoffrey of Needwood appeared before the Baron and Baroness to receive a handmade arrow from the Baron's hand as thanks for setting up such a challenging and interesting target archery course.

Next, the gentles who served as Waterbearers were asked to stand and receive thanks for their important service of hydration.

Lady Symone de la Rochelle and Lady Ilaria de Gandia were summoned into Their Excellencies' presence and made Companions of the Silver Silkie for their skills in the arts of war.

Next, Lord Celric d'Ravelle and Lady Ilaria de Gandia knelt before the Baron and received from His hand the Baron's Award of Excellence -- a token bearing Baron William's personal badge.

Baron Stefan of Cambion came forth to receive thanks from Their Excellencies for his many years of service as a minister of the lists, dance teacher, and numerous other activities. He became the newest recipient of the Shield of Storvik.

Lady Kunigunde von Darmstadt was called forward. After praise for her ongoing service to the Barony in chronicling, event stewardship, and other activities, she received the Baron's Award of Excellence -- the token bearing Baron William's personal badge.

Lady Nuala of Needwood and Syr Richard de Montbrai approached Their Excellencies and presented Them with a painted banner honoring Storvik's brewers. The Baron and Baroness were greatly pleased and named Syr Richard Storvik's first Court Painter.

Since this was a Novice Tourney, Their Excellencies gave Their public thanks to the novice MOL in charge, Lady Avice Claremond, and the novice MOL-in-training, Mistress Branwen Madyn Wallis.

Finally, it was announced that the Royal Court of Her Majesty, Queen Seonaid, would begin after a short break, and the Court of Their Excellencies William and Sorcha, Baron and Baroness of Storvik, was closed.

Vivat Atlantia! Vivat Storvik!

I attest that these proceedings are a true and complete accounting to the best of my ability.

Respectfully submitted,
Patricia of Trakai
