[MR] Two email lists for our kingdom

With all due respect, I have no wish to be "retrained." Lets be sure we understand that several people have just proposed to gut this list and make it an announcement system and to tell the rest of us to go somewhere else. I dislike this idea The Merry Rose, for all it's faults, is strongly ingrained in the fabric of the kingdom. Also, The list format is flexible, especially in this age of smart phones. I can check the list while standing in line to buy milk or while waiting on a slow computer to load at work. I can't do that with a forum.
I say this as someone who greeted the Atlantian Forum with great excitement, only to watch people fail to flock there. We should think twice about making such a change.
