I believe the forum is a wonderful idea. I use them with other groups. It is
easier to find things than having to search through the entire archive, and
you aren't innundated with messages on a topic you aren't interested in. My
concern is in the retraining of those of us firmly entrenched here.

As an autocrat, having somewhere to post all of the myriad bits regarding my
event, and knowing that people interested in events would look there, would
be wonderful.

The problem at this point would be in having to post things twice - once
here, and once in the forum. Oh, and then in Facebook, and on the event
website, and...
