Sir Logan: "that said, is the poster not worth consideration?  what i mean is
why is her post simply "nonsense"?  what if its true?  what if hrm of trimaris
is a total sh!thead?  having someone win a crown with you doesnt make you beyond
reproach."

Agreed. But the reason her post is nonsense is because of the method she chose
to voice her opinion. TRMs are figureheads of their kingdom - to attack them
publicly in such a way is dishonorable because their response is limited by
their office. Its like attacking a fighter as he's carrying someone injured off
the field. Or standing up in court and sliming TRMs, safe in the knowledge that
they wont diminish the Crown by jumping in the muck with you. Its a cheap shot.
A dishonorable attack that says everything about the character of the attacker.
If she was genuinely concerned about what she thought HRM said, there are ways
to address it other than throwing mud at HRM on the MR.

Sir Logan: "with the posts of nasty comments to trms of atlantia on this list
being posted without such simple denials of validity im confused. a few, in
fact, have come from this very thread. little defense, of this nature, has been
offered on this list for trms of atlantia. folks making claims of "tin hats"
(which is a really insulting term) being disillusioned and destined for
self-rule in a defunct sca go without condemnation."

I condemned it. I said that based on my own experience watching TRMs Atlantia,
the accusation was risable and asked for a retraction. True, I expected the
peerage to push back against the offender harder, but perhaps they are
accustomed to this kind of nonsense and just ignore the drama. Its hard for me
to say because I'm already a bit too dramatic (working on that!) and I don't yet
have a good sense of balance.

Cheers
