sorry, i wasnt talking about combat but "every little interest" in general.
personally i sort of support rapier combat having its own peerage (which it
sort of does, the white scarf) or being included with the chivalry. again,
sorry if i was unclear.

I still don't understand why the idea of extending peerage to combatants who
don't fight heavy would be considered "watering down"
the peerages. An artisan can achieve Laurel in any branch of arts or
science. A volunteer can become a Pelican through dedicated service of any
type. Those peerages *already* extend to "every little interest." Why is
combat the exception?
I just want to understand the mindset here. I realize that arguing the
point is futile.
