Greetings Unto the Fair Members of the Atlantian List.
 
Words reached my ears today that your list was assaulted by someone posting some
very vile and ugly thoughts and words, which were attributed to me.
 
After feeling horribly hurt and shocked, I decided I would post a note over here,
and again I am truly sorry that anyone had to read such ugliness.
 
The person who posted these words was removed from the Trimarian list some
time ago for what we referr to in polite terms as list trolling.  For those who 
don't use this old dusty term, it means attacking people posting on a friendly
list, misquoting or causing general unhappiness.  
 
One of the hats I wear in Trimaris is as one of the 7 list moderators, all 7 
agreed after receiving massive amounts of complaints to remove this 
individual from our Kingdom's e-list.
 
In general I like to post happy stuff, chat about costuming or upcoming events.
 
The only statement I can make about the words attributed to me were that 
they were so far off base, false, vile and ugly that I can't comment any
further beyond to say it is shocking.  To say I was mis-quoted would
be a stunning understatement....
 
The Triskle Tavern is our open Kingdom list, subscription is simple and
all are welcomed provided they understand that the list is moderated to
keep it a list people want to be a part of.  People who get ugly on the
list are spoken to or emailed and reminded of the rules, if they break them
or are cruel to others on the list, they are banned.  In general as Crown I
have avoided moderator duties and left it to the other 6 gentles, often 
times because I am well, kinda busy atm?  LOL!
 
I would encourage anyone who feels they need to read my own words for
themself to feel welcome to join the list and read the archives with their
own hearts and their own eyes.
 
I have on several occasions asked the populace to write letters of recommendation
and in fact started a discussion based upon my own personal feelings expressing
that the AOA is an incredibly important award, being to me the one award that
is the most welcoming and makes a member feel the most a part of the 
Kingdom and the Dream.
 
Atlantia has been dear friends and allies to Trimaris and to Duncan and myself
over many years.  I am heartbroken to have to ever post such a missive to
such a fair and gracious Kingdom.
