Well!  This is certainly instructive for us all!  It goes back to every 
member is a Deputy Chatelaine, doesn't it?  Folks who don't want to 
behave that way are a detriment to our Society.  I'm not too upset about 
the group not growing....I'm one of those off-beat sorts who doesn't 
even want everyone playing my game; I like being different!  But that we 
lose people and only constant replacement with new ones keeps our 
numbers decent is a bit scary.

It's too bad the BOD might feel hesitant to tell us what's really going 
on.  This is a part of their self-replacing, us-vs-them mentality that 
pops up periodically to gnaw at the Society.  We are all adults here, 
all reasonably intelligent, and certainly capable of looking at survey 
responses and figuring out what we need to do to improve them.  Right?

So, smile!  Say hi to that person you don't know (or know that face, but 
forgot the name to go with it)!  It's all we did back in AS (were we 
counting then?), and it's the reason a whole lot of us are here!
