I remember hat place. I also work for a food pkace at pennsic now. When phis was forced our , they ahd already failed the allowable rimes to fail the food onspwcrion.( when yoi fail they give you a chance to fix it before theyngive yp on yoy). nrxt year ,Phils moved to an off site spot on currie road which had its own which had ita own problems. Both before and after, one of them being , they were officially not on the inspectors rpute. The place i work for and a. Other places in the food cpurt (sland?) are very aware of thebrules and inspectors. The coopers have a no tolerence polocy with failiure to comply with govt standards and onspections. That phils incedent burned them plenty and they want tomake sure it is the onlytime.? Remember, Pennsic may be likw >rigadoon, appearing out of the mists every year for 2 weeks bur, it is still appearing on american soil and is thsu subjet to all laws and standards. It is easy to forget that sometime.

Yes, thank you. I meant to say this, too. And don't just trust the food service people, either, although I will say they've really improved over the years. Remember Phil's Mediterranean? Awesome place. Everyone was so angry when they ended up losing the Pennsic gig. However, before they did I personally walked out of that place with my tribe when I got to the front of the counter one afternoon. The food line was crawling with flies.
And then one of the workers pulled out a can of insecticide and sprayed it out over the food line. But that's moot, really, because the flies alone were enough to make me leave.
To say I fled is not overstating or exaggerating.
So to this day, if someone's fixing food for me, be it friends or vendors, I'm watching them like a hawk before I decide if I'm eating there or not.
