[MR] COURT REPORT FOR ICE CASTLE

Unto the Kingdomof Atlantiaand the most esteemed Triton Herald, Master Bran 
Trefonnen, does Lady Rosanella Vespucci send greetings and this report on Court 
business conducted at the above-named gathering.
 
His Majesty, Bryan of Atlantia, did hold Court in the early evening of the event 
as the populace gathered in anticipation.  The Populace was invited to take 
their ease and His Majesty offered greetings and thanks to all those who worked 
diligently throughout the day.  His Majesty then invited into His Court, 
Baroness Katherine Wert of the Barony of Blackstone Mountain in the Kingdom of 
Aethelmearc.  Her Excellency, after some comment and commentary on the prowess 
of the Fighters of the Barony of Black Diamond, did then entreat His Majesty to 
send assistance to Her Barony to ward off the menace of the MidRealm.   His 
Majesty, after some diplomatic comment and commentary of His Own, did assure Her 
Excellency of the support of Atlantia; after which Her Excellency was invited to 
join His Majesty at His Right Hand and to observe His Court.  

 
His Majesty did then invite all of the children of Atlantia to come forward and 
receive gifts from His Royal Gift Box.  The children fell to with a will and did 
gleefully accost His Majesty’s bearer of the Gift Box.
 
His Majesty enjoined all those for whom today was their first event to come 
forward.  There were many newcomers today and His Majesty did gift them with His 
Token and offer them welcome to Atlantia.  He also gave thanks for their 
presence today.
 
Their Excellencies Black Diamond, Mac Con and Gracia, were then invited to 
address Their King.  Their Excellencies did advise Their Sovereign of a great 
injustice in the Kingdom, to wit, the failure of the Barony of Stierbach to 
honor a debt for services rendered during the War of the Wings.  Their 
Excellencies spoke of Their support of Stierbach with the warriors of Black 
Diamond as well as House Anglesey, who did fight for Stierbach with a will.  The 
agreed payment would be fabric offered to clothe the Black Diamond fighters with 
new tabards.  Alas, this payment has not yet been received despite many promises 
from Their Excellencies Stierbach.  The King vowed to right this wrong and did 
declare His promise to tax the Barony of Stierbach.  His Majesty then gave 
permission for Their Excellencies Black Diamond to hold Their Own Court and much 
Baronial business was accomplished.
 
Once His Majesty’s Court resumed, the King did make His way from His Throne to 
go to the side of a wounded gentle, Aoifa Bain , who was seated in the audience 
in great pain, having returned from His Majesty’s Physicians after injuring 
herself during the event today.  He did praise this faire lady for her service 
to Atlantia, which did include assisting in the kitchen at events, assisting the 
scribes in preparation of scrolls, providing leadership to the student group at 
Virginia Tech, and stepping up to become the group herald for the Barony of 
Black Diamond.  His Majesty raised her to the ranks of Nobility with an Award of 
Arms and a scroll was presented.  

 
His Majesty returned to His Throne and summoned forth the following at His 
Pleasure:  

 
Allaine of Mountain Keep presented herself before His Majesty and she was also 
raised to the
ranks of the Nobility with an Award of Arms for her service; to wit, helping 
make garb
for newcomers in the Barony, traveling to Universities to learn period 
techniques and return to teach 

others in the Barony how to make more accurate garb.  She was presented with a 
scroll. 

 
Lady Anne Balfour of Markinchpresented herself upon call of His Majesty and she 
was inducted
into the Order of the Coral Branch.  She was presented with a medallion and 
scroll for her great
knowledge and willingness to teach others about period headdresses, embroidery 
and kumihimo.  

 
Ellionara of Black Diamond was summoned before His Majesty and was given an 
Award of
Arms.  She has only been a member of her Barony for a year, and yet has 
contributed much to the
Kingdom and her Barony through her beautiful scribal work, often on short 
notice.  She was
presented with a scroll.  
 
Lady Letia Thistelthueyt was called forth and was inducted into the Order of the 
Coral Branch.
Lady Letia was recognized for amazing talent exemplified by an exquisite shield 
painted and
displayed at Kingdom Twelfth Night.  She also made an effort to dress to match 
her shield, and has
been recognized as an accomplished painter.  She was presented with a scroll and 
a medallion.
 
Tamlinwas then called into Court.  He was acting as His Majesty’s Guard and 
quickly divested
himself of his sword to kneel before the King and receive an Award of Arms for 
great service in
fighting and at events, and noble representation of Atlantia at events outside 
Kingdom (including 

fighting and working in the kitchens there).  He was presented with a scroll.
 
Having completed all business at this time, His Majesty then bid His Court to be 
closed.
 
Later after consuming a delicious feast, His Majesty did then bid the entire 
kitchen staff to come out 

to be recognized and thanked by Their King.  His Majesty ordered that Court be 
opened and 

Naila al-Zaraqwas asked to kneel before Him.  The King did recognize that this 
was her first feast
and it was not only exceedingly to the King’s liking, but was also 
well-researched and presented.  For
this and other service to the Kingdom, His Majesty did raise her to the ranks of 
nobility with an
Award of Armsand she was presented with a scroll. 
 
There being no further business, His Majesty’s Court was closed.
