Greetings!
 
 In just a few days the Shire of Bordervale Keep will be hosting A Midwinter’s Tale. We apologize if you have not been able to access our web page for more information and we will be having an A&S/Bardic competition that will be held during feast. The feast is limited to 75 gentles and is being prepared by Duke Valharic and his staff.  We also have amazing prizes for the winners of all competitions (heavy fighting tunic made by Baroness Astrid (pictures posted earlier to the MR), silk banner for rapier, throwing knives for thrown weapons, arrows for archery, pottery for A&S/bardic)  Below I have posted the event schedule. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at duchessisabel at yahoo.com  (I do not subscribe to the Merry Rose so if you post a question to the MR, it may take some time for me to respond).  

Friday (01/21/11) 
Site opens at 5pm
Troll closes at 12am
 
Saturday (01/22/11)
Troll reopens: 8:30am
Complimentary coffee bar opens: 9am
Authorizations: begin 11pm
Chatelaine/Newcomer Meet & Greet  12-12:30pm
Martial activities: begin 12:30pm  
Royal Court: 5pm or Her Majesty’s Whim
Feast: 6:30pm
Bardic competition will be held during feast
Hafla hosted by Baroness Tyra Thorkelsdatter following Feast/Hall clean-up

Sunday (01/23/11)
8am: Site clean-up
10am: Site closes to all gentles
