Hi everyone!

This Saturday, we had a visitor show up: cold, wet, very boney (could see the ribs and backbone). Being that she showed up on the day we were having a festival of Imbolc; we decided this poor little girl needed a home and was sent to us for that reason.

Her name is Brì (Bree), she is 11 weeks old and weighs around 15 pounds now (14 and some change). We and the vet think she may be a German Shepherd Dog puppy or a close mix. The cats are mixed in thought about her: Romi is ok with her and will sometimes play with her, Lori isn't actively striving to kill her and will actually approach Brì sometimes to exert her dominance.

We plan on bringing her to what events we can. Definately bringing her to WoW. I'm starting to train her in basic commands and then to pull a light cart (might as well put her to work) Wil is going to train her to be his running partner.

I know she was a drop off, the neighbor had her and her llittermate dropped off at his place a few weeks ago. He didn't want them (I suggested taking them to the animal shelter) and I see how he took care of that (I haven't seen the littermate, but she was very runty, don't see her running around, so don't think she survived). His own dog is left to wander the neighborhood and if she disappears or gets hit, it's "oh well, 'circle of life'" . Brì is now a happy member of our family.
