It is my sincere hope that this missive finds all who read or hear it safe and in the best of health.
On the fifth day of February in the forty-fifth year of our Society, Atlantia held its Kingdom Arts and Sciences Festival. In the evening of the day, His Majesty, King Brian, held a Court for the dispatch of business. There follows an account, to the best of my knowledge andbelief, of the proceedings of that Court.

His Majesty presented the King’s Award of Excellence to theoutgoing Royal Brewer, Bryan Crawford.
His Majesty called into Court Mistress Jeanmaire de Domremyand Mistress Yseult of the Red Cliffs, who announced the transfer of the officeof Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences from Mistress Yseult to MistressJeanmaire.
His Majesty then recalled the demoiselle CatherineGwinnesdottir, the outgoing Royal Baker, into Court and, with especial praisefor that she had so well discharged the duties of Royal Baker at a very youngage, awarded her the Hippocampus.
His Majesty then called before him Juliana de Chambery, andraised her to the nobility of the Realm with an Award of Arms.
His Majesty called before him Lodwig von Neusohl, andinducted him into the ranks of the King’s Missileers.
His Majesty called before him Eleanor Gildenher, and awardedher the Silver Nautilus.
His Majesty called before him Baroness Dolce dei Bracchi, and awarded her the Coral Branch.
His Majesty then called before him Mistress Belphebe deGivet. Praising the Lady’s service insupport of the art of defense, His Majesty assembled the Honorable Order of theGolden Dolphin and inducted her into its ranks.
His Majesty then called forth Geoffrey ap Clwid and likewiseinducted him into the Order of the Golden Dolphin, whose members were stillassembled.
His Majesty called forth Master Richard Wymark, thenassembled the Order of the Pearl and inducted him into its ranks.
His Majesty called forth William Shoprat, and inducted himinto the still-assembled Order of the Pearl.
His Majesty called forth Lady Sophia Kress, whom hepresented with a Writ directing her to make vigil to contemplate elevation tothe Most Noble Order of the Laurel.
His Majesty called before him that very Order, and thenbrought into court Marjorie of Winterbourne. This most worthy Lady was then elevated to the rank of Mistress of theLaurel with the presentation of mantle, medallion, and parchment.
His Majesty called before him then the Most Noble Order ofthe Pelican, then brought forth Baron James of Middle Aston, whom he elevatedto the rank of Master of the Pelican with the presentation of mantle, hat, medallion, and parchment.
His Majesty closed by expressing his admiration andappreciation for the many musicians who had provided musical accompaniment tothe Court and the day.
There being no further business, the Court was closed.
The account above being to the best of my knowledge, recollection, and belief. Any corrections (especially to the spellings of names) will be welcome.
Your servant aye
Donal, Conch.
