I ordered a hat from these guys online on October 26,2010. My money was
taken October 27, and to date I have no hat. They scored a D+ with the
BBB, and their phone is disconnected. I have received 2 emails after a
dozen sent. Beware of this site if you value your money!

It will be a WONDERFUL weekend for an indoor event! Kingdom Arts &
Sciences
will certainly not disappoint.

We have lots of folks sharing their love of the arts and sciences
through
competitions, displays, demonstrations and performances. The heraldic
consult table will be in full swing and the Atlantian Library is back.
Look
for a brewer's round table some time during the day. You do not want to
miss it. A fantastic fundraiser lunch will be available and the menu
looks
incredible!

The Lunch menu:

A Fantastic Common Ravioli with Herbs

Hand-made, fresh cheese ravioli with herbs

Roast Chicken Breasts with Choice of Sauce:

Agliata (roasted garlic sauce) Or Perfect Sauce for Chickens (raw fruit
sauce)

Pomages (Apples Stewed in Wine)

It'll go fast!

For more details on the day:

We hope to see you there.

Good morning,

I just want to remind those who plan to make use of the Atlantian
Library at KASF to bring a USB thumb drive, blank CD, and/or your
digtial camera.

Lord Aidan of Tir-Y-Don will be providing an electronic resource area
with computers and a scanner for those who wish to scan a few pages or
a picture and take it home with them. You can also use your digital
camera to take a picture of the page(s), if you like. Lord Rychard
Wymarc plans to bring a digital camera stand to make this a bit
easier.

See you tomorrow in the library!!

Greetings Atlantia. As you may know, the site for Kingdom Arts &
Sciences
is a community center associated with a local Greek Orthodox church here
in
Newport News. The church has some wonderful Byzantine icons and we have
secured a "tour" of the church for those interested this Saturday. The
time
will be around 12:15 due to the minister's schedule. Those interested
in
the tour and purchasing lunch on site are encouraged to find a lunch
buddy
as there are limited plates for sale.

This event will be held on February 19th! Great fun.. and what else do
you
have to do on a cold winter?s day?

The more it snows..tiddley pom...

Welcome to the latest installment of Ice Weasel.
As usual, this year's seriously, scholarly theme is "Now We are Six."
As usual, the event can be summed up as "A smack and a nosh."
This year, in deference to our theme, we will have a "Heffalumps and
Woozles
Pit" Heavy List tournament.
Also, in keeping with our theme, the rules for this game will be made up
by
the participants more or less before the start of the tournament
With enough time and interest, we will do some melee fighting and
training,
and hopefully the first "1/100th of an Acre Woods Battle".

Hearty day board will be served, some of it actually within reach of the
combatants.
And there will be supper.
As supper will be prepared by Lord Fergus "Go Big or Go Home" Redmead,
under
the very, very watchful eye of Lady Molly Blythe, you can be assured
that
"Supper" be hearty.

Day board:
knotted biscuits
Sausages and gravy
Chicken pottage
Hard boiled eggs
Pickled eggs
Pickles
Fresh fruit and cheese
Sliced pepperoni.

Supper

Cheese and onion tarts
Bread with honey butter
Vegetable pottage
Roasted veggies
Prime rib
Bread pudding
Baked apple

If you are not inclined to stand hip deep in snow getting brained with a
stick, Lady Alys Atwater has had her fellow artisans put together a
series of

classes to intrigue and astound.

Stained Glass 12-2 ($5 material fee)
Clothing by Aceline 12-1
Blackwork by Elaine 1-2
Queen's Favor's by Nest 2-3
Knitting by Margarite 2-3
Fingerlooping by Alys 3-4
Tailor's Guild Meeting 3-4

Fracti Modi, the rocks stars of the 12th Century will be in attendance,
and
will be playing what they want, when they want and probably how they
want.

Merchants are welcome. To be clear: Merchants are not charged for space
or
tables, but will be charged for attendence. And supper, if they stay to
eat.

Court will be held. Baroness Nest has an excellent track record for
holding
amusing and brief courts.

Quickly gaining the reputation of the East Kingdom's best "Estrella Pity
Party" we cannot promise the pagentry or the balmy temperatures of that
Crusade, but
we will refund your gate fee if you find a scorpion in your boots.

Location, location location! King Philip Lodge, AF&AM, 152 Columbus
Drive,
Fall River, MA 02720
Please use Mapquest or GPS device. The Weaselcrat will just get you
hopelessly
lost.
Seriously.
Time: Site Opens at 10 AM. Tournament Starts Promptly at Noonish. Site
closes, and Weaselcrat's Press Gang starts at 8 PM.
Fees: Site Fee is $7. Non-member surcharge (Imperial Taxes) are $5.
Supper is $10. Being Cranky at Supper is an additional $2. Day board is
included in the site fee.
Children under six are free. And children aged twelve. And children
between 6
and 12.
There is a family cap of $40 (Site and Supper) and $20 for site only.

As there was a few technical glitches we are accepting unpaid
reservations.
When was the last time you saw that in an Event announcement?
Reservations can be sent to:

Ken Howe
213 Central Avenue
New Bedford, MA 02745
ceawlin_alreding at comcast.net
508-995-5389. Please leave a message. Before 9 PM.
Please do not call during the day, we have a household member who works
3rd
shift.

Sensible questions and queries may also be sent to the above.
Irritating, trivial, or just dum questions must be written on vellum,
calligraphed in a period style and brought to the Event, where they will
help

start the fire in the outdoor fire pit.
