I don't know if anyone has shared this already, but Google has created yet
another site which may be of interest and use-- Google Art Project
(http://www.googleartproject.com/). The site allows the user to tour
17 different museums around the world with high resolution images of various
artworks with the ability to zoom in for amazing detail. I know Berlin's
Gemäldegalerie has some exquisite 14th and15th century works that can be
viewed through Art Project.
